4th Vetusta National Trophy: Oviedo vibrates again with speed skating

ODYTA Summary

The Vetusta National Trophy, a well-established event on Spain's national speed skating calendar, will hold a new edition on July 4–5, 2026, at the La Pixarra skating rink in Oviedo. The event is organized by Club Patín Nuevo Oviedo and will bring together skaters from various categories representing numerous clubs across Spain. Competition is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m., with two days expected to feature emotion, speed, and spectacle on wheels. In addition to the sporting side, the trophy will include a charitable component: 10% of proceeds will go to the APACI association, and a food collection will be held to support the Cocina Económica. RollerZone encouraged clubs, skaters, and fans to take part in what it described as a major skating celebration and to enjoy a weekend in which sport and solidarity roll together again on Oviedo's tracks.
